SCREENING DAY
Early Identification Changes Everything
May 9th, 2026
10AM-1PM
Location: TBA
Building Foundations For Success is hosting a screening day for families with children ages 6–8, to identify students who may benefit from structured literacy intervention.
Selected students will be considered for full sponsorship beginning in the 2026–2027 school year and will receive individualized, evidence-based tutoring aligned with Orton-Gillingham principles weekly.
Families of selected students from filling out the form below will be contacted directly with screening time/location details.
Thanks to our first annual event, Pouring Into Literacy, we are able to sponsor not one, but two, children starting in the 2026-2027 school year!
Building Foundations for Success is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting children with dyslexia by providing access to specialized tutoring and educational support for families who may not otherwise be able to afford it. Through consistent, personalized instruction, we help children build confidence, strengthen learning foundations, and move forward with greater success in school and beyond.
For many children, learning doesn’t come easily — not because they aren’t capable, but because they learn differently. Without access to early support, these children often fall behind and lose confidence in the classroom. This doesn’t just affect academic success — it impacts how children see themselves. As a community, we believe we can help change and build confidence within the children to succeed.

Providing a full year of specialized dyslexia tutoring for one child costs approximately $18,000. Our fundraising goal this year is $50,000, which will allow us to begin supporting 1–2 children immediately — with the ability to help even more local children as additional funds are raised. These funds also help cover essential program expenses, including renting space for tutoring and working with Orton-Gillingham–trained guides who collaborate with schools and teachers to ensure each child receives consistent, coordinated support.
